JP Neighbors

Jamaica Plain Neighbors is an ongoing personal project born out of a desire for connection. Despite living in a crowded Boston neighborhood, I realized I knew none of my neighbors. To break that isolation, I invited local residents to sit for a portrait. This series captures the true heartbeat of our community through intimate portraiture, photographing people in the place they feel most comfortable: their homes.
