About

Two men are outdoors in a forest covered with fallen leaves during autumn. One man is lying on the ground, taking photos with a professional camera, while the other man is crouching, examining or collecting something from the leaves. A large black object, possibly part of a photography setup, is visible on the right.
A man wearing a Santa hat, glasses, and a festive sweater is mid-air with an inflatable guitar, in a garage setting with scaffolding, tools, and a sparkle backdrop.

Bio

I’m a Boston-based professional photographer with a background in photojournalism and a passion for creating editorial portraits that tell a story. My career began behind the lens of breaking news and feature stories, where I learned to anticipate moments, read light instantly, and connect deeply with strangers under tight deadlines. I’m drawn to photographing people—their personalities, their environments, and the moments that reveal something genuine about who they are.

I especially enjoy working one-on-one with people. For me, the best portraits come from building a connection and creating an environment where someone can relax, be themselves, turning a session into a collaborative process. Photography has always been about more than making a beautiful picture; it’s about curiosity, storytelling, and finding a way to say something meaningful in a single frame.

I feel incredibly fortunate to make photography my full-time career. It’s a profession that continues to challenge me, introduce me to fascinating people, and keep me curious every day.

Away from photography, my greatest adventures are with my wife, Sara and our nine-year-old son, Jack. We love getting out and exploring together, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to see the world through his eyes. We recently added another member to the family, an adorable calico cat named Sophie, who has quickly made herself at home.

Music is another big part of my life. When I’m not behind a camera, you’ll often find me in my office with a guitar, practicing a new song—or probably trying to get through the same part of a song for the hundredth time and unfortunately my office is not sound proof.

Photography is what I do, but curiosity, connection, family, music, and adventure are what keep me inspired.
